Linda Sue Holmes

Linda Sue Homes, 62, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Hardy. She was born July 19, 1956 in Jonesboro to the late Delbert and Zula Brown.

Linda Sue has lived all of her life in Jonesboro and was of the Baptist belief. She loved to fish, going to the lake, and loved her puppies. Linda Sue was recognized as 2014 Occasions Woman of the Year for her work as a Certified Mastectomy Fitter.

In addition to her parents, Linda Sue is preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her loving husband David Holmes of the home; sons, James Brian (Tonya) Peppers of Jonesboro, Kyle (Jana) Holmes of Jonesboro; daughter, Ashley (Michael) Kain of Harrisburg; brothers, John Brown, Jim Brown, and Michael Brown all of Jonesboro; sisters, Marilyn Guerber of Cave City and Jenny Crisler of Jonesboro; grandchildren, James Clayton Peppers, Sophie Elizabeth Sue Peppers, Hannah Kain, Stone Kain, Ayden Holmes and Kayla Holmes; great-granddaughter, Zaylee Kain and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 5-7 pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2019 at 10 am in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Tim Spence officiating. Burial will follow at McDaniel Cemetery in Jonesboro.
