Linda Heath Clark, 70, of Jonesboro, left this life on Friday, October, 20, 2017, at Lexington Place Nursing Center. She was a life-long resident of Northeast Arkansas. She was a member of the Family Fellowship Baptist Church. Linda loved to sing and recorded and sung with the Walnut Ridge Jordanaires and the Sunlighters. She retired from the Craighead County Health Department. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ben Clark, of the home; son, Michael Clark of Brookland; daughter Gail Clark of Little Rock; brother, Boyd Heath (Janet) of Hot Springs; sisters, Amy Carter of Jonesboro; Janie Rogers of Austin, Arkansas and Betty Mason of El Dorado; grandchildren, Dyllan Clark, Haleigh Clark, Harper Clark, Aylor Clark and great grandchild, Addie Bynum.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Walcott, with the men of the Family Fellowship Baptist Church serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Craig McDaniel, Dr. Adam Woodruff and Dr. Ben Owens. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel.
