Linda Sue Hasting

Linda Hasting, 59, of Bay died Monday, May 5, 2025, at her home.  She had lived in Bay most of her life.  She was born in Trumann on May 4, 1966, to Leonard and Martha Maggard. Her favorite pastime was spoiling her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids as much as possible.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie Hasting, daughter, Leta Hasting, and great grandchild, Ezrah.

Survivors include her son, Matthew Leon Maggard and wife Heather of Bay; daughter, Victoria Altom and husband Tyler of Newport; brother, Wayne Maggard of Bay; sisters, Vicky Maggard of Everton, Missouri; Ronda Smith of Beach Grove, Arkansas; five grandchildren Brentley, Conner, Jude, Cade, and Tieraney; great grandchildren, Brinley, Hayden, and Ozzi.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 Monday, May 12, 2025, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Matthew Maggard officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time.  Burial will be private.
