Linda Watson Gann

Linda Watson Gann, 73, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Ridgecrest Health & Rehab. She was born October 27, 1951 in Harrisburg to the late Vernie and Nora Bell Watson.

Linda has lived in the Jonesboro area most of her life and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and spending time with her family and pets.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by a brother, Loyd Watson; sister, Martha Ann Watson and Martha’s stillborn twin; grandmother, Sarah Jane Hunter; stepson, Chris Gann and stepdaughter, Tonya Gann.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Gann; daughter, Sonya (Daryl) Kent; brother, James (Roxanne) Watson; sisters, Betty (Kenneth) Coy, Polly (Richard) Harris, Bertha (Mansel) Doyle; and Lois (Rickey) Sharp; grandchildren, Matthew Kent and Andrew Kent; great-grandchildren, McKenna Kent and Willow Kent; brother-in-law, Bobby Gann and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday July 25, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Emerson Funeral Home on Saturday July 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Farm Hill Cemetery outside of Harrisburg.
