Linda Jean Bobbitt

Mrs. Linda Jean Bobbitt departed this life Saturday, February 27,2021 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House at the age of 75. She was born to the late Everett Lenard and Ellen May Shields on June 3, 1945.

Linda was a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Hoxie. She worked hard all of her life here in Jonesboro at several restaurants including managing the kitchen at Western Sizzlin for 15 years. Mrs. Linda was a loving mom, grandma, and sister. Her daughters and grandkids were her life. She was a strong and sweet woman who loved to cook for her family. Linda was loved and will be greatly missed.

Addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband Gary Bobbitt; four brothers, Jim Shields, Henry Shields, Jack Shields, and Ed Shields; three sisters, Donna, Doris, and Beverly.

She is survived by; three daughters, Cindy (Ron) Brand of Jonesboro, Brenda Bobbitt of Harrisburg, and Angie (Mike) Bennett of Jonesboro; seven grandkids, Cassie (Allen) Krupnow of Hoxie, Matt (Amber) Holt of Bay, Terri (Derrick) Henson of Jonesboro, Brittney (Kyland) Stewart of Walnut Ridge, Cheyenne Willfond of Jonesboro, and Cassie King; eight great grandchildren, Zoe Ellis, Jade, Char, River, Rykar, Blaire, Nathen, and Kaylynn; one brother, Ted Shields; three sisters, Aleta, Sandra, and Teresa.

Friends may visit at Emerson Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Committal services will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono with Brother Roger Brand officiating.

Pallbearers include Mike Bennett, Ron Brand, Allen Krupnow, Nathen Krupnow, Kyland Stewart, and Robbie McIntire.
