Lillian Smith

Lillian Smith, 86, of Jonesboro died Thursday, January 15, 2009. She had lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was of the Baptist belief. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Nona Bowman; husband, Lynn Smith; three Children, Gary Smith, Doug Smith and Kenny Smith; two sisters Imogene and Louise.

Lillian was a beautiful, pleasant natured, and unselfish lady in the truest sense of the word. Her life was devoted to caring for her family. She was loved and respected by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Thedore Smith, of the home; four grandchildren, Sherri Black, Todd Smith, Baline Smith and Ken Smith II, and several great and great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no public visitation.
