Lillian Shirley King

February 12, 1926 — December 4, 2005

Lillian Shirley King, 79 of Jonesboro died Sunday, December 4, 2005 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in the Gilkerson Community, near Gibson Switch, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro her entire life. She was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Oak Grove Home Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray King; her parents, Marion Edgar and Willie Mae Gallion; two sons, Gary Donald King and James Allen King, three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include

Sons Larry King, Lowell King, Lonnie Ray King, Edwin King, David King, Wynndel King, all of Jonesboro,

Daughters, Lila Huddleston, Jonesboro, Sheila Powell, Toccoa, Georgia, Nora Davis, Chandler, Arizona, Darlene Harrison, Jonesboro,

25 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren,

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Emmett McCrackin officiating with burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Tony Files. Dustin Tubbs, Chris James, Mark Gallion, Freddy Wright, and Robert Herndon. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
