Leveda Bounds Keaton

Leveda Bounds Keaton, 58, of Jonesboro, died August 19, 2010 at UAMS in Little Rock. Born in Corning, she had lived in this area most of her life. A member of Family Fellowship Baptist Church, she loved spending time with family and friends and attending her granddaughters’ sports functions.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Billy Keaton; daughter and son-in-law, Juanita & Danny Laws, Jr., all of Jonesboro; brothers and sisters-in-law, C.S. & Denise Bounds and Charles & Phyllis Bounds, all of Marmaduke; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy Ruth & Ed Mangrum, of Bay; and granddaughters, Tiffany Nicole, Alexandrea Jade, and Mallorie Kirsten.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruthie Shirl & Wilma Majoyce Marie Bounds; brothers, Jay Bounds, Clifford Bounds, Doyle Bounds; and sister, Pauline Oglesby.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Paul Clark and J.R. Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be John Williams, Jerry Sollis, Ron Keaton, Eddie Bounds, Lewis Bounds, and Randy Bounds.

Visitation will be Monday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
