Letha Stark

Letha Pierce Stark, 82 of Jonesboro, died Friday Oct 27, at St Bernard’s Hospital. She was born in Jonesboro, and was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Harrisburg.

Survivors: Husband J.O. Stark of the home. Six sons, Royce A. Pierce, J.W. Stark, Tommy Stark all of Jonesboro, Charlie Stark of Harrisburg, Ark. Carl Stark of Weymouth, MA. and Tim Stark of Mena, Arkansas. Three daughters, Ruth Ingram, Judy Guthrie, Velma Cook all of Jonesboro. Several Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Harrisburg with the Revs. Dale Davis and Leon Minick officiating, with burial at the Pierce Cemetery in Jonesboro, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Active Pallbearers will be Joe Pierce, Elmer Metcalf, Wade Stark, George Pierce, T.J. Stark, and Rob Ingram.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Nephews, Nieces, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren, and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church ladies Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
