Letha Ann Noell

Letha Ann Noell, 90, of Jonesboro, passed peacefully from this life on Friday, February 14, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born on December 9, 1934, in Thomasville, Missouri.

Letha had a love for the simple joys in life—canning, gardening, and making pickles were among her favorite pastimes. She also cherished time spent fishing with her beloved husband, Charles. Her warmth and dedication to family left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Noell Sr.; her parents; her son, Charlie Noell Jr.; and her sister, Patsy.

Letha is survived by her son, Dennis Noell (Kay) of Jonesboro; her daughter, Carol Lease (Mark) of Summerville, Tennessee; and her cherished grandchildren: Holly Noell-Koen (Marno), Katie Noell-Verser (Matt), Zach Lease (Jasmine), Jennifer Gutherie (Brad), Blake Lease (Brittany), Charles Noell III, Alisha Weisenbach, Jesse Noell, and Tyler. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Sutton Verser, Taylor Lease, Mason Lease, Bryson Gutherie, Brooks Gutherie, Holden Lease, Harper Lease, and Haddy Lease.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, at Unity Cemetery at Cole Hill.

Letha’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
