Leroy Glenn Perkins

Leroy Perkins, 74, of Jonesboro died Friday, January 6, 2012.

Leroy was born June 19, 1937 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Stanley and Pauline Perkins. He was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge and loved fishing with Darrell Cook.

Survivors include his wife Francis Richardson Perkins of the home; one brother, Ronald Perkins (Beverly) of Raleigh Duram, North Carolina; one son, Scott Perkins (Amy) of Indianapolis, Indiana; two step-sons, Randy Eggers (Jeanette) and Roger Eggers of Jonesboro; one step-daughter, Rhonda Monday of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Ross, Erik, Kiernan, and Bryce Perkins; six step-grandchildren Rachel and Lauren Eggers, Brandy Richardson, Joshua and Dustin Poole, and Cody Eggers; and three step-great grandchildren, Emma Richardson, Isabell Poole, and Baili Poole.

A memorial service is to be held at a later date. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
