Leroy Bell

Leroy Bell passed from this life April 10, 2023. He has been a resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas for many years, having been born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on March 30, 1950 to Leon and Lillie Mae Golden-Bell.   Early in his life he moved to Houston Texas where he met his wife while working at Hermann Hospital. After getting married Leroy and his wife moved back to Arkansas.  Leroy worked for St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro for many years until his retirement in 2017.  Preceded in death are Leroy’s parents, wife and his beloved dog Puppy Jack.  Leroy is survived by three sisters and one brother.  Leroy will be remembered with a kind heart, loving soul, that had a special love for animals.  He especially loved his dog Puppy Jack.  For those wishing to honor Leroy,  you may offer a lasting memorial in his name to a local Humane Society.

The scattering of Leroy's ashes will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturady, April 22, 2023 at Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
