Lequeta Lincoln, 89, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at her home. She was born October 4, 1934 in Bay, Arkansas to the late Sid and Beulah Collins. Lequeta was a graduate of Bay High School and was a member of the Church of Christ. Lequeta worked and advocated for children for many years, and retired from Arkansas Social Services in 1999. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her neighbors, Angela, DeAnn, and Linda were very special to her.
In addition to her parents, Lequeta was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Buddy” Lincoln, her daughter, Melinda Bosworth, and her sister, Helen Seat.
Survivors include her son, Rick White and his wife Carol of Jonesboro; 3 grandchildren, Brandi Widick and her husband Kyle of Hernando, Mississippi, Rebecca Cossey and her husband Paul of Jonesboro, Lauren Castle and her husband Jason of Alvarado, Texas, and 7 great-grandchildren, Josie Widick, Carrie Widick, Evan Cossey, Ava Cossey, and Jude Cossey all of Jonesboro; Anna Castle and Roy Castle, both of Alvarado, Texas.
Memorial service will be Monday, February 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Gibson and Bro. Chase Almond officiating. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
