Leonard Tolley

August 23, 1944 — June 22, 2025

Leonard Tolley, 80, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, June 22, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital.  He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 23, 1944, to Gilbert and Myrtle Tolley.  He lived in St. Louis until moving to Jonesboro in 1978. He was of the Baptist belief.  He retired as a commercial truck driver.  His favorite thing was he lived to love his family and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin, Jerry and Chester; and two sisters, Lucille and Ruby.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Sue Tolley, of the home; son, Kenneth Tolley and wife Amy; daughter, Angie Tolley all of Jonesboro; sister, Lilly Schrader of Fisk, Missouri; six grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kyle, Jax, Justin, Crystal and Chris; and five great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Craig Miller officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  The burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery near Paragould with Justin, Chris, Kyle, Kenny, Robbie and Mr. Lynn to serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time.
