Leonard Dale Jackson

Leonard Dale Jackson, 76, of Newport departed this life on December 7, 2022. He was born October 21, 1946 in Beedeville, Arkansas to the late Thilmore and Geneva Jackson.

Leonard was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to hunt, fish, and spend time outside. You couldn’t find Leonard sitting still, he loved to dance, and buy, sell, and trade cars.

In addition to his parents Leonard is preceded in death by; three sons, Michael Lynn Jackson, Jamiee Lee Jackson, Lloyd Dale Jackson; three brothers, William A. Jackson, Charles E. Jackson, and Marshall T. Jackson.

He is survived by; two sisters, Juanita Smith of Fisher, Josie Gaskin (Charles) of Fisher; four grandchildren, Kyle Lloyd Jackson, Kaylah Jackson, Cloette Jackson, Morgan Wegner; three great grandchildren, Sage Elizabeth Jackson, Brayden Forrest Garber, Jasper Lee Pedem; one special great grandbaby on the way; significant other, Ann King; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Family will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
