Leonard Browning

Leonard Harold Browning, 81, of Jonesboro went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 28, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. He was born to the late Jimmie and Gladys Browning on May 26, 1933 in Bono, Arkansas.

Leonard accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior during his recent stay in the hospital. He spent 68 years of his life in Bono before moving to Jonesboro. He was a farmer and cattle rancher. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandchild; Casey Campbell, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jean (Mc Elrath) Browning of the home. Daughters; Hollie Weaver (Chris) of Jonesboro and Linda Campbell (Buster) of Black Oak. Grandchildren; Kristy Wilson (Cade), Lacey Weaver, Cullan Weaver, Katey Campbell, Kyley Campbell. Leonard also leaves behind one great grandchild; Kenzley Wilson.

A private Graveside service were held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trinity Cemetery in Bono c/o Ronald Coleman, 116 CR 328, Bono, Arkansas 72416 or to the St.Jude Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
