Lendon Paul Fergeson, 75, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Jonesboro to Ethon and Virginia Fergeson on January 1, 1943. Paul is preceded in death by his parents.
Paul graduated from Jonesboro High School and was very active in the marching band. He owned and operated American Manufacturing Group in Jonesboro for the past ten years. The American Manufacturing Group specializes in custom engineered equipment solutions for the manufactured concrete products industry. Paul was a member of the American Concrete Pipe Association and was a training facilitator for the organization. He also spent several years with the Craighead County Sheriff’s Department’s Mounted Patrol.
Paul was a member of Central Baptist Church with his wife, Ann. He was actively involved in the establishment of the Word Campus. Throughout his life, Paul had a passion for historically authentic Civil War reenactments. He continued to participate in the reenactments until his body could not keep up with the demands of being a living historian.
Paul is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ann Fergeson of Jonesboro; son, Randy Fergeson of Clearwater, Florida; daughters, Terri George (David) of Largo, Florida and Cherish Fergeson of Jonesboro; sister, Kay Ford of Jonesboro; and two grandchildren, Trey Paul George and Parker George.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home on Monday, July 30, 2018 with Rev. Jamar Andrews and Rev. Larry Bailey officiating. Burial will be private.
The visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00a.m.
