Lenda Sue White

Lenda Sue White, 70, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home. She was born June 21, 1952 in Marked Tree.

Lenda was a member of Needham Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, spending time with family and her cat, Sassy, and was very proud of her Native American heritage.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Grace Martin; brother, Rodney Martin; daughter, Jessica Diane Goad and an infant daughter, Angela Beth Goad.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Goad; brothers, Wayne (Marcella) Martin, Donald (Carla) Martin, Floyd (Suellen) Martin, Jimmy (Nanci) Martin, Johnny (Debbie) Martin, and Garland (Tina) Martin; sisters, Barbara (Ronnie) Weston and Anita Ridge; grandson, Zachary (Shelby) Goad and great-grandson, Ethan Goad.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 1-2 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

Graveside service will immediately follow at 2:30 at Pine Log Cemetery.
