Lenard Franklin Smith

Lenard Franklin Smith, 76, of Brookland died Wednesday June 13, 2012 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

He was born in Oil Trough and had lived in Brookland for 10 years moving from Osceola. He was a retired machinist and a member of the Church of God in Osceola.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy William and Minnie Adams Smith and one son, Lenard Ray Smith.

Survived by his wife, Betty Smith of the home.

Son, James Smith and wife Roslyn of Jonesboro.
Sister, Mary Horn of Poterville, California.
4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Oaklawn Cemetery with Bro. Larry Bailey officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until service time at the Cemetery.
