Lee R Tucker

Lee R Tucker, 78, passed from this life on July 20, 2015 at his home in Jonesboro, AR. Lee was born March 31, 1937 in Pocahontas, AR, a son of the late Vernon and Lillian (Goodman) Tucker.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home. Also surviving are three sons, Stanley Tucker, of Jonesboro, Stewart Tucker, of Olympia, WA, Denny Tucker of Pocahontas, one daughter, Debra Tucker, of Tacoma, WA, one stepson, Allen Wilson, of Clarksville, TN, one stepdaughter, Candalee Hicks, of Jonesboro, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren. One brother, James Tucker also survives along with his stepmother Imogene (Hufstedler) Romines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ronald lee Tucker, and two half brothers, Albert G. Tucker and Earl H. Tucker.

Lee was retired from the US Army in 1977 after 20 years of dedicated service. He attended The Rock church in Jonesboro.

Visitation for Mr. Tucker will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm on July 23rd at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 1:00pm at Shiloh Cemetery in Pocahontas, AR with Pastor Terry Allen Watson officiating.
