Lee Rogers

Lee Rogers, 43, of Jonesboro, son of Bill & Dianne Rogers, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Lee was born in North Little Rock on July 6, 1968. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1986 with honors and participated in football and track. He attended the University of Arkansas and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He completed his education at Arkansas State University with a master degree in psychology in 1994. Lee was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. He was a loving and devoted father and had a compassion for others.

He is survived by his parents, Bill & Dianne Rogers of Jonesboro; two daughters, Lilly Elizabeth Rogers, Anna Catherine Rogers and their mother, Jeri Baker of Jonesboro; sisters, Laura Rogers (Steve) Simpson of Conway and Polly Rogers (Jeremy) McMellon of Jonesboro; brother, Bryce Rogers of Jonesboro; and grandparents, Phil & Polly Bumpers of Conway.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clayton & Jeanne Rogers of Jonesboro. He leaves behind a host of very close aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Cornerstone United Methodist Church Tuesday, February 7 at 11 a.m. The service will be officiated by senior pastor, Chris Cooper and Brian Tuggle of John 3: 16 Ministries.
