Lee R. Krigbaum

July 23, 1923 — February 3, 2006

Lee R. Krigbaum, 82, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Friday morning, February 3, 2006, at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Success, Arkansas, Mr. Krigbaum lived in Memphis and Hot Springs before moving to Jonesboro in 1963. He was a retired Sales Representative for Texaco, Inc. with over 30 years of service, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II.

Mr. Krigbaum was a member of Central Baptist Church of Jonesboro where he was a member of the Golden Retirees of Adult 6 Sunday school class. He was a 1949 graduate of Arkansas State College and was a member of the Jonesboro Exchange Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 half sister.

Survivors include:
His wife of 55 years: Alene Clark Krigbaum of the home;

1 Son: Lynn Krigbaum of Germantown, Tennessee;

2 Daughters: Lisa Thomas of Jonesboro, and
Lauren Krigbaum of Little Rock;

2 Sisters: Vera Krigbaum of Fairview Park, Ohio, and
Virgie Cox of Taft, California;

5 Grandchildren: Amy Hedger, Stephanie Painter, Julie Caples,
John Thomas, and Joseph Thomas; and

6 Great Grandchildren: Dylan Painter, Cody Painter, Abigail Painter,
Nathaniel Hedger, Megan Hedger and Cameron Hedger.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning, February 6, 2006, at 11:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Bro. Archie Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include: Kelly Baggett, Fred Hargett, Philip Painter, Steve Broadaway, Chris Hedger, and Jeff Brun.

Honorary pallbearers include: members of the Jonesboro Exchange Club and the Golden Retirees of Adult 6 Sunday school class at Central Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 3-5 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
