Lee David

Lee David, 89, of Caraway passed from this life on November 4, 2014. She was born on September 22, 1925 in Bunny, Arkansas to the late Robert and Sophia Meurer. Lee spent her whole life in Caraway, Arkansas and was a member of the Caraway United Methodist Church. She loved her family and was an avid Bridge player. Lee is preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Sophia Meurer. Husband; J.R. David, Jr. Sisters; Elly Wallace, Lee Prager, and Prudy Thomas. Brother; W.J. Meurer.

Lee is survived by two daughters; Gundel Martin (Jerry) and Debbie Taylor (Gary) both from Caraway. Four grandchildren; Holly Whittenburg (Dwight) of Caraway, Melanie Gyngard (Tim) of Caraway, Garrett Taylor (Michelle) of Little Rock, and Kabe Taylor (Holly) of Monette. Six great grandchildren; Taylor Woody, Hannah Gyngard, Brayden Gyngard, Hunter Whittenburg, Erin Woody, and Landry Brynn Taylor.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 7, 2014 at Caraway United Methodist Church with Bro. Doug Criss officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive guests immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. Burial will be private.
