L.D. Burrow, 89, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Friday, March 13, 2020, at his residence.
Born in Lake City, L.D. lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area except for five years that he lived in Long Beach, California. He worked many years in the automotive business and was a long-time member of Trinity Church in Jonesboro.
L.D. served 6 years in the Arkansas National Guard and was preceded in death by his wife, Floy Lee (Bowers) Burrow, his daughter, Sharon Heard, his parents: Charley and Ethel Carpenter Burrow, 1 sister, Louise Haag, and 4 brothers: Curt, Tom, Melvin and Grady "Chuck" Burrow.
Survivors include 2 sons and daughter-in-law: Danny and Shena Burrow, and Bobby Burrow, all of Jonesboro;
7 grandchildren: Amanda (Devin) Barker, Clint Burrow, Colby Burrow, Angie (Steve) Jones, Jamie Koster, Chris (Katy) Ingram and Heath Ingram; and
6 great grandchildren including Sims Barker.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Steve Farmer officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers include Tom Barnes, Scott Ruthven, Richard Draper, Clint Burrow, Phil Whybrew and Kenneth Burrow.
Visitation will Tuesday from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 in the Mausoleum Chapel.
