Lavern Davison, 89 of Bay passed from this life on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was a born on October 30, 1929 in Trumann, Arkansas to the late Walter and Mollie Baker. Lavern was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Trumann and retired from both Singer and the City of Jonesboro. She absolutely loved the St. Louis Cardinals, but not as much as she loved her children and grandchildren. Lavern also enjoyed completing her puzzle books every day. In addition to her parents, Lavern is preceded in death by her one brother and three sisters.

Lavern is survived by her sons, Vernon Davison of Jonesboro and Jerry Davison (Marie) of Trumann; daughters, Sandra Emerson (Warren) of Bay, Rhonda Clinton (Randy) of Paragould, Wanda Kulbeth (Bret) of Little Rock, and Terri Thompson (David) of Bay; sister, Erma Looney of Bay; 20 grand children and 32 great grandchildren. Lavern also leaves behind three special friends, Evelyn Robertson, Sheryl Ezell, and Rhonda Chamlee.

The visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home with Bro. James Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Gary Armstrong, Scott Armstrong, Cody Davison, Nathan Davison, Davey Thompson, Michael Tucker, Clinton Tucker, and Bryan Barnes. The honorary pallbearers will be the remaining grandsons.
