Laura Inell Harder

Laura Inell Harder, 81, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her home. She was born in Willow on August 25, 1938 to the late Frank and Ila May Gross.

Laura has lived in Jonesboro for 10 years, coming from Bartlett, TN and was a devoted member of the Greensboro Road Church of Christ. She loved gardening, cooking, reading and was also very family oriented. Not only did she love her family, but she also enjoyed getting together with her work family at Macy’s even after retirement.

In addition to her parents, Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harder Sr; daughters, Vicki Barber and Patricia Harder; sisters, Myrna Dean Crain and Christine Rowell and a brother, Dale Allen Gross.

She is survived by her daughters, Jan Hopkins and Carole Harder, both of Jonesboro; son, Robert (Melissa) Harder Jr of Byhalia, MS; sister, Elizabeth Ann Smith of Malvern; grandchildren, Gary Barber, Ryan Hopkins, Caitlin Griffin, Jacob Harder, Kristin Southeren, Carrie Stanley and Rebecca Harder as well as 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
