Laura June Fry Busby

Laura Fry Busby, 79, of Lake City passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014, in Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Lynn and Essie Fry of Lake City. She was born June 18, 1935, in Lake City. She graduated from Dixie High School in 1953.

She is survived by her son, Michael Busby, of Afghanistan, her only grandchild, Colton Busby, Barnhart Missouri, and a sister, Patti Fry Soong of Arnold, Missouri. She is also survived by her caretakers, Chris and Todd Soong., and by several nieces and nephews, many cousins, and her only living Uncle, Lee Dacus of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Mary Calderon, and her son, Scott Busby.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, October 23rd at McIlroy Cemetery, Highway 90, Pocahontas.

The family will receive visitors at the Lake City Community Center from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday the 23rd.
