Laura Bess Rigsbee Chadwick

Laura Bess Rigsbee Chadwick, 32, of Bay, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Laura Bess was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her life in Bay. She was a 2008 graduate of Bay High School where she was a member of the Lady Yellowjackets  volleyball and softball teams. In her earlier years, Laura Bess was active in Girl Scouts.

Laura Bess enjoyed traveling, coloring and listening to her music. But her single favorite thing to do was spend time with her daughter Cadence, doing whatever Cadence wanted to do.

Survivors include her daughter, Cadence Chadwick of the home;

her parents, Charles and Debbie Rigsbee of Bay;

four brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom and Laura Rigsbee of Jonesboro, Tim and Misty Rigsbee of Bentonville, Robby and Heidi Rigsbee of Jonesboro, and Dakan and Mary Kate Rigsbee of Clinton, Mississippi;

five nieces and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Bay with Rev. Danny Taylor officiating,  Burial will be private.  Visitation will precede the memorial service from 1:00-2:00 p.m.at the church.
