Larry Shown

Larry Shown, 65, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Collierville, Tennessee. He was born in Marked Tree to the late Bud and Billie Jean Shown on November 28, 1951. Larry was a mechanic for many years and an avid Mopar and car lover. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Smith; nephew, Ricky Smith; and grandchild, Bradie Adams.

Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Katherine Amador-Shown; daughters, Amelia Adams, Billie Jean Shown, and Rachel Avilia; son, Robert Amador; brother, Jim Shown; sister, Cindy Bowden; grandchildren, Nicholas Adams, Jacob Adams, Alexzander Adams, Braxton Adams, Elizabeth Adams, Emily Beltron-Amador, Valerie Amador, and Anthony Amador; nieces and nephews, Sami Smith, Carri Smith, Jeff Shown, Gina Shown, James Shown, Kevin Bowden, and Cristin Bowden. Larry also leaves behind his beloved dog/son, Tony.

A private memorial will be announced by the family at a later date.
