Larry Keith Rook, 44, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday December 1, 2017 at St Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born in Jonesboro on August 17, 1973 to Larry Dell and Sharion Shempert Rook. Larry lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was a 1991 graduate of Nettleton High School. He had received his Bachelors degree in Agriculture Education and had worked for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for 14 years. Larry was of the Nazarene belief, an avid fisherman and hunter. He especially loved to turkey hunt.
Larry is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and a nephew; Jordan Tyler Gatlin.

Survived by his parents; Larry and Sharion Rook of Jonesboro.

Sons; Garrett Coby Rook and Jackson Cade Rook both of Stuttgart.

Brother; Bryan Rook of Black Oak, Arkansas.

Sister; Sherry Meadows of Jonesboro.
Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Stallings officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 4, 2017 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Blake Gatlin, Chase Meadows, Perry Nettles, Gavin Rook, Tony Rook and Shannon Simino.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Arkansas Game and Fish.
