Larry K. Lewis, 65, of Jonesboro, died Monday, May 14, 2007 at his home. He was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro most of his life. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jonesboro and was preceded in death by his parents, R. E. and Maxine Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Lewis of the home; two daughters Nicole and Dr. Henry Stroope, Jonesboro; Natalie Lewis of Seattle Washington; two sisters, Barbara Grimm of Walls, Mississippi; Becky Willey of Great Falls, Montana; Three grandchildren, Olivia Rose Melton, Emily Suzanne Stroope, and Evelyn Estelle Stroope.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 18, 2007 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend John Miles officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Honorary pallbearers are Steve Boros Jr., Brad Boros, Blake Boros, Dale Watkins, Dr. Henry Stroope, Oscar Jay Melton III, Ed Copeland, Joe Pace, Jim Pace and Ben Bush. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Thursday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
