Larry Ray Jones

Larry Jones, 77, of Ravenden passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis. He was born March 18, 1946 in Jonesboro to the late Walter and Grace Jones. Larry was a member of Herndon Church of Christ. He retired as a mechanic who owned his own business. Larry enjoyed working on cars, riding his tractor, relaxing and watching geese on his pond and riding horses. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bob Jones, Jerry Jones, Sunny Jones and 1 sister, Melba Stooksberry.

Survivors include his 3 daughters, Kim (Heath) Hendrix of Jonesboro, Leah (David) Bewley of Jonesboro, Denice (Jeremy) Kildow of Byhalia, Mississippi; 1 sister, Rose Taylor of Jonesboro and 6 grandchildren: Jackson Hendrix and Cody Hendrix of Trumann, Marcie Bewley and Rhea Bewley of Jonesboro and Kaden Kildow and Kennedy Kildow both of Byhalia, Mississippi.

Graveside service will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in Herndon Cemetery with Bro. Harold Chadwick officiating.
