Larry Gene Goggins

Larry Gene Goggins, 64, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center.

Larry was born in Holland, Missouri, and lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area. He was a farm laborer most of his life and attended the Pentecostal church. He enjoyed fishing, watching Elvis Presley movies and listening to Elvis music. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal Brown Goggins and a nephew, Andy Westbrook.

Survivors include his sister, Ann Freeman of Jonesboro; 2 brothers: Donald Goggins and Richard Goggins, both of Jonesboro; 4 nieces: Jeannie Rousey, Edie Hudson and Goldie Goggins, all of Jonesboro, and Ladon (John) Jones of Bono; and 6 great nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tony Becker officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
