Larry Glenn Dulaney Sr., 79, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on June 23, 2025. Born February 26, 1946, in Walnut Ridge to Anderson and Juanita Dulaney, Larry lived a long and fulfilling life devoted to his family, friends, and community.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Larry was of the Baptist faith. He spent most of his life in Walnut Ridge before settling in Jonesboro in 2001. Known for his sociable spirit, he was active in the Black Rock Masonic Lodge, as well as the local chapters of the VFW, Eagles, and Moose clubs. Though he wasn't much of a hunter himself, he cherished time spent at the hunting lodge with friends, enjoying their company.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Sandra Dulaney; his daughter, Cindy Harris; and his brother, Jackie Dulaney.
He is survived by his children: Bruce O’Connor of Hoxie, Teddy Dulaney of Jonesboro, Larry Dulaney, Jr. of Newport, and Pamela Johnson of Jonesboro; eight cherished grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation to celebrate Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Old Military Cemetery, with Dennis Truxler officiating.
