Larry Harlan Copeland

Larry Harlan Copeland, 68, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.  He had lived in Jonesboro for over 41 years. Larry was a minister and a member of the Alsup Baptist Church.  He loved being with people.  He always had a smile and a hand shake for anybody he saw.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Copeland of the home; sons, E. J. Davidson Sr., of the home; J. D. Davidson (Kimberley) and William Davidson (Debbie) all of Jonesboro; 55 grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Glenn Hurst officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with E. J. Davidson, J. D. Davidson, Roy Davidson, Scott Sonterre, E. J. Davidson Jr., and William Davidson serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Wednesday.
