Larry F. Boyer

Lawrence “Larry” F. Boyer, 76, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Lawrence “Larry” was born March 6, 1936 in Potosi, MO to the late Ed and Nellie Miller Boyer. He was a Punch Press Operator for Sukup in Jonesboro until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church. He was a kind and loving man that will be missed by everyone that knew him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Clark, Theresa Golden, Trudy Edwards ,and Margaret Boyer; five brothers, Jack, John, Lee, Dan, and Edward Boyer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nelda Boyer of the home; one daughter, Amber Riley and her husband Jim of Bono; two grandchildren, Hayden and Peyton Riley of Bono; two brothers, Roberts Boyer of Potosi, MO and Paul Boyer of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Edith Boyer of Potosi, MO; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Saturday morning at 10:00am in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Doug Welborn officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
