Landra Annette Haley-Gilbow

Landra Annette Haley-Gilbow, 41, of Jonesboro was gifted her angel wings October 8, 2019. She was a graduate of Westside High School, continued her education and became a licensed Cosmotologist, and then attended Missouri Southern State University receiving an Associates degree in science as well as Dental Hygiene. The desire to help others feel more beautiful as individuals was a life long dream of Landra’s. She loved art and believed every person she worked with was a blank canvas and with that she created beauty. It filled her heart with joy knowing she could share her gift she was given. Landra had an infectious smile that could light up a room from the beginning as early as a baby until it was her time to go. We are sure she is still smiling brightly in heaven. Landra was a beautiful adventurous soul. She had a big heart and deeply loved her Lexi-Bug. Her passion in life was being Lexi’s mom, which became her purpose in life. We as her family know she has found peace and she will be deeply missed by all. The day Landra died, a part of us died with her, leaving a spot no one could ever fill.

Landra is survived by her daughter, Alexis Gilbow of the home; her parents, Sandra Parker-Haley and David Haley of Jonesboro as well as a large extended family and a host of friends. We ask that you never forget the times of joy you spent with Landra. I hope we make her proud as she watches over us as we continue the journey on this road called life. Never say goodbye, but instead, see you later girl.
