Landon Drake Furnish

Landon Drake Furnish, 22, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. He was born on January 14, 1997 to Chad and Katelyn Furnish in Jonesboro. Landon is a member of Central Baptist Church and also a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity at Arkansas State University. He loved being outside whether that meant he was hunting and fishing or working on the farm. Landon was the true definition of an outdoorsman. The only thing that Landon loved more than the outdoors and his family was his two dogs: Shug and Jaxx. Landon is preceded in death by his grandpa, Charlie Wayne Parks; great grandparents, Gay W. Roach Sr., Margaret Cloie Roach, Charles E. Parks, Raymond Huskey, Elaine Huskey, and Bonnie Furnish.

Landon is survived by his parents, Chad and Katelyn Furnish of Jonesboro; sisters, Lindsey Bennett (Chris) and Lauren Furnish both of Jonesboro; grandparents, Margaret Parks and Jim & Jane Furnish all of Trumann; Aunts and Uncles, Bryan & Andrea Parks of Bedford, Texas and Regan & Robin Parks of Trumann; cousins, Caleb Parks, Storm Parks, and Gunner Parks. Landon leaves behind a host of other family and friends.

The visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church.

The funeral service will start at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Central Baptist Church with Blake Ligon officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Storm Parks, Trevor Couch, Hunter Liles, Drake Miller, Josh Kaiser, Will Jackson, Grant Johnson, Jacob Moore, Will Alexander, Logan Allred, Zeke Lomax, Dillon Groves, and Gunner Parks. The honorary pallbearers are the members of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
