Landon Cole Ellis, 18, of Walnut Ridge, departed this life on Monday, August 10, 2026. He was born August 30, 2007, to Paul Marrs and Heather Ellis in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Landon was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. He enjoyed welding, skating, picking on his brothers, hanging out with his friends, taking care of animals, and spending time with his family. Landon was also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rhonda and Charles Ellis; paternal grandmother, Donna Chaplain; and maternal great-grandfather, Floyd Winningham.

Landon is survived by his mother, Heather Ellis of the home; his father, Paul Marrs of Jonesboro, and stepmother, Tabitha Marrs; maternal grandmother, Louis Winningham; paternal grandparents, Donna and Ron Sylvia and James and Hettie Blankenship; brothers, Cameron Ellis and Caleb Ellis, both of Walnut Ridge, Carlos Sifuentes of Walnut Ridge, Champ Marrs of Jonesboro, and Elijah Eckbold of New Jersey; sister, Kendra Trammel (Dayton) of Jonesboro; aunts and uncles, Charles Ellis (Jeri) of Oklahoma, Frank Marrs, and Sonya Spinner (Tony); niece, Rynn Morgan; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Marcus Johnson officiating the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Landon's memory.
