Lance Snider

Lance Snider, 47, of Jonesboro died Wednesday. He served 4 years in the Marines and 8 years in the National Guard.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Peggy Snider of Jonesboro; one daughter, Katie Elizabeth Snider of Fort Smith; two brothers, Brad and Butch Snider, both of Jonesboro; and two sisters, Robin Snider and Phyllis Meredith, both of Jonesboro; and two grandmothers, Elizabeth Snider of Carlisle and Dollie Loftis of Jonesboro.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, W. B. Snider and Thurman Loftis; one uncle, Ted Snider; and one niece, Brooke Meredith.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emil Williams and Bobby Crabb officiating. A committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 Friday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active Pallbearers will be Brandon and Winn Meredith, Andy, Reed, and Brooks Snider, Chase and Alex Holman, and Steve Dowdy. Honorary pallbearers will be Tate and Baylee Snider.
