LaNan L Brown

LaNan L. Brown, 60, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She was born on November 6, 1965, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Frank M. Laws and Helen Laws.

LaNan was a woman of faith who attended Sanctuary Church in Jonesboro. She had a caring and compassionate heart, dedicating herself to looking after her mother as a devoted caregiver. She loved the Lord, had a special place in her heart for all animals, and found her greatest happiness in spending time with her husband, James, and her close circle of friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, James Brown of the home; one brother, Marlon Laws (Leslye) of Forrest City; and her cherished nieces and nephews, including Eryn Lewis of Russellville and Caine Laws of Forrest City, along with many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
