Lana Kitova

Lana Kitova, 55, of Jonesboro died November 18, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born June 25, 1960 in Dushanbe, Tadjikistan. Lana was a highly decorated track and field athlete. She was a 10 year National Soviet Union. Lana was twice a European Champion of the 800 meter and had won the Student World Games. In 12 years of living in Jonesboro she changed many people’s lives by providing Personal Training and Massage Therapy services.

She was preceded in death by her father, Aleksander Kitov.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Serguei Pevtsov; daughter, Alexander Pevtsova; mother Vera Kitova and one brother, Vladimir Kitov.


Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2015 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
