Lacy May Sharp, 67, of Jonesboro, died Thursday at NEA Baptist Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Monette, Lacy moved to Jonesboro in 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of Jonesboro Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to garage sales and searching flea markets and was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy and Edith Howerton Hubble, by a grandson, Nicholas Sharp and by a brother, George Hubble.
Survivors include her husband, Jerald Sharp of the home;
1 daughter, Dianne Stewart of Jonesboro;
2 sons and daughters-in-law: Ron and Laurie Sharp of Benton and Lynn and Judy Sharp of Jonesboro;
3 sisters: Shirley Gibson and Pat Wasson both of Jonesboro and Dean Holt of Trumann;
1 brother, Jerry Hubble of Brookland;
6 grandchildren: Brandon Sharp, Andrea Garland, Kourtney Noe, Junior Sharp, Paige Sharp and LaTisha Stewart; and
5 great grandchildren: Mackenzie Garland, Aubrey Garland, Levi Sharp, Alix Noe and A.J. Noe.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 in Jonesboro Baptist Church, 5916 E. Johnson Ave. with Dr. Gary Winters, Mr. R.B. Elembaugh and Mr. Dale Pulley officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers include Kyle Williams, Nathan Williams, Jeremy Garland, Ricky Timms, Josh Williams and Scotty Timms. Honorary pallbearers include Taylor Iglehart and Andrew Noe.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
