Lacretia Ranae Carmichiel, 34, of Osceola, died Saturday morning at South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola of natural causes.
Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, Mrs. Carmichiel lived in Fayetteville, Jonesboro and Lepanto before moving to Osceola 22 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Osceola. All who knew her loved her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother: Doris Atkinson, and by her maternal grandfather: Ishmael Parks.
Survivors include:
Her Husband: Michael Carmichiel of the home;
1 Son: James Carmichiel of Dyess;
1 Daughter: Elizabeth Carmichiel of Jonesboro;
Parents: Mike and Judy Atkinson of Jonesboro;
Maternal Grandmother: Lois Parks of Jonesboro; and
Paternal Grandfather: R.C. Atkinson of Brookland;
And many friends throughout the area
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include: Garry Atkinson, Jackie Brown, Michael Brown,
Anthony Coy, David Leister, Wayne Usrey.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
