Kristen (Kris) Alan Bultman, 55, died October 24th, 2023 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on February 25, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Keith and Ruthie Bultman. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Michelle (Westermeyer) Bultman, their sons Justin Bultman Bush (Amy Bush) of Goshen, Ohio, and Spencer (Kelly) Bultman of Morrow, Ohio. While he was known to most as Kris, the ones he loved the most, his kids and grandchildren called him Pops. Oliver and Emerson (Justin and Amy) have been the joy of his life for the past few years, and he was anxiously anticipating meeting Baby Bultman (Spencer and Kelly) in January.
He was loved as a brother, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, great uncle, and cousin to his loving extensive family, as well as many friends who cherished his charismatic personality.
Kris was a true fan of all his teams. He has always been a Greenhills Pioneer, as he loved his high school days on the track and football field. Upon graduation from Greenhills, Kris graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Kris loved his Bearcats. Through Justin and Spencer's involvement in the Kings Knights athletics program, he had the heart of a Knight himself. He spent many years coaching and supporting players and athletes that he called his own.
Since his move to Arkansas, Kris’ love of the outdoors brought him to Norfork Lake. He was always planning the next adventure, including dreams of paddling boarding the Buffalo River, hiking Yellowstone as well as the Appalachian Trail.
Kris was “the glue that held those he loved together”. He lived his life sharing adventures and his wisdom. He took in every moment and loved with his whole heart.
Kris’ wishes were for those who loved him to celebrate his life. The details will be shared in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Kris’ name to the following organizations: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105; American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692; or American Cancer Society, P.O.
