Koni Lynn Woodson, 53, of Jonesboro, formerly of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born January 3, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Billy Woodson and Carla Stroud. Koni grew up in Walnut Ridge and later lived in several places before settling in the Jonesboro area. She enjoyed gardening, plants, music, anything Betty Boop–related, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Koni was preceded in death by her daughter, Meagan Woodson; her son, Elmandual Woodson and her brother, Jason Stroud.

Survivors include her daughter, Danyal (Gabe) Moody; four sons: Samual Woodson, Skyii Smith, Zane Lee, Zachary McCreary; her sister, Billie Jean Woodson; brother, James Wood and one grandchild, Cash Moody.
