Knox L. Webb

Knox L. Webb, 78, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. Knox was a long-time resident of Jonesboro, moving here from Woodacre, California and was of the Christian belief. Knox served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War and received the Good Conduct Medal, Navy Occupation Metal, Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Medal and the National Defense Medal. As a graduate of ASU he was very active in the Jonesboro Elks Lodge #498, involved with the Women’s Shelter, and with many veterans and memorials organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Kelly Webb; Son, Knox L. Webb III, his parents and one sister Martha Ann Webb Hobson.

Survivors include one son, Matthew Webb and wife Joanna, Lake Tahoe, California; daughter, Melissa Webb Madeley and husband, John, Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
