Kevin Wayne Shipman

Kevin Wayne Shipman, 51, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.  He was born in Jonesboro on March 18, 1974, to Larry and Linda Shipman, and lived most of his life here in Jonesboro. He loved kayaking, fishing and road trips.  He enjoyed watching Anime movies.  He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dale Shipman.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Ball, of Hartselle, Alabama; special aunts, Shirley Shipman, Barbara Shipman, and Pat Higgins; special uncle and aunt are Rex and Wanda Higgins; several cousins and lots of friends.

A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Walcott with Larry Bailey officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  All other services are private.  To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
