Kevin Dale Leonard, I

Kevin Dale Leonard, I, 29, of Brookland, died Monday, November 16, 2009, from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident in Jonesboro.

Born in Jonesboro, Kevin lived much of his life in Valley View before moving to Brookland this year. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Valley View Fire Department.

Kevin was a 1999 graduate of Valley View High School, a member of the Lone Wolf No Club, and enjoyed fishing and stock car races. He was preceded in death by his father, Mac Author Leonard, by one brother, Tommy Leonard, and by two sisters: Rebecca Leonard and Pamela Kay Leonard.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Leonard, of the home;

1 son, Kevin Dale Leonard, II, of the home;

2 daughters: Pamela Leonard and Kimberly Leonard, both of the home;

His mother: Linda Leonard of Jonesboro; and

1 brother, Mac Author Leonard, II, of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Wynndel King officiating. Burial will follow in Kellers Chapel Cemetery

Active pallbearers include Gerald Goza, Curtis Neely, Logan Slagley, Jeff McGinnis, Trent Edwards and Ron Eaton.

Honorary pallbearers include Tony Bittle, Bethany Neely, Ed King, Chris Treadway, Roger Goza, Gary Gilbert, Craig Goza, members of the Valley View Fire Department, Cash Fire Department and the Lone Wolf No Club.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
