Kevin Lane Cunningham

Kevin Lane Cunningham, 45, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, December 19, 2020 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born to Leon Cunningham and Linda Parr in Vincennes, Indiana on May 23, 1975.

He has lived in Jonesboro since 2003 after coming from Batesville, Arkansas and Matoon, Illinois prior to that. Kevin was the Dallas Cowboys #1 fan. He loved to hunt Morel mushrooms, enjoyed RC cars, and fishing. Kevin was a genius when it came to mechanic work and he was very knowledgeable about IT.  Most of all Kevin was a genuine family man who was a great husband and father.

Kevin is preceded in death by his brother, Brian Cunningham; maternal grandparents, Paul and Leona Brown; and paternal grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Cunningham.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 14 years, Amanda Cunningham, of the home; father, Leon (Yen) Cunningham of Batesville, Arkansas; mother, Linda (Luke) Parr of Greenup, Illinois; sons, Bobby Wilson of Jonesboro, Ryan Cunningham of ft. Smith and Anthony Cunningham of Jonesboro; daughters, Aleah Cunningham of Teutoplis, Illinois and Sarah Cunningham of Jonesboro; brother, Troy (Sheba) Cunningham of Tabor City, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 1-2 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 pm Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home with Rev. R.J. Platz officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Bobby Wilson, Ryan Cunningham, Huey Brooks, Adam Modesto, Aleah Cunningham, and David Modesto.

Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Parr, Leon Cunningham, and Troy Cunningham.
